Day Trip
Description
On Sunday May 28 from 10:00am to 4:00pm, all YGTA staff and their families/loved ones are invited to enjoy YMCA Cedar Glen’s 263 beautiful acres.
All of our trails will be open allowing for a self-guided experience that will provide participants the opportunity to explore and connect with the more natural side of our site. As such, no Cedar Glen program areas (i.e. archery, high ropes, etc.) will be accessible. Maps and activity suggestions will be provided at check in.
Additional programing will include:
- Opening in a good way and guided teachings about spring renewal with Jenna Robar, YMCA's Manager, Indigenous Relationships (Time TBD)
- Campfire with s’mores at 3:00pm
Please take note that pets are not permitted on the property.
Location
Situated on 263 acres of the Oak Ridges Moraine, YMCA Cedar Glen Outdoor Centre is the perfect place for children, youth and adults to grow in confidence and learn new skills. Cedar Glen welcomes outdoor education, retreat and conference groups, offering meals in our dining hall, overnight accommodations, meeting facilities and outdoor experiential education programs.
